In an interview with the media, Yuyu Wahyudin expressed gratitude for the award won by Fish Bank Indonesia. “We are very proud to have won second place in the philanthropy category. Our program, which focuses on empowering traditional fishing communities, has been running for five years. We continue to encourage them to become more empowered and to improve their quality of life,” said Yuyu.
Yuyu also expressed his hope that the program could continue to grow and contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Indonesia. “We hope this program can continue and have a wider impact, not only for traditional fishermen but also for the Indonesian community as a whole,” he added.
This award serves as proof of Fish Bank Indonesia’s commitment to supporting the achievement of the SDGs, particularly in the area of coastal community empowerment, and fostering innovations that have a positive impact on local communities.
